The job market sucks.
JobMaxx makes it suck less.
I got tired of applying into a void and of boards that get paid to keep the void full. So this one makes you show pay, and it takes the listing down if nobody will say it's still open.
The house rules
If a feature fights these, it doesn't ship.
“Competitive” is not a number. No range, no public post. I don't make exceptions for “we'll tell them in the interview.”
Fourteen days. Email reminder, then it comes down. Unconfirmed jobs are how boards rot.
Matches, gaps, blockers. If the score looks stupid, you should be able to point at the rule. I'm not selling you an oracle.
No ad profiles. We don't hand your file to anyone you didn't apply to. Export the JSON or delete the account from the profile page.
Server-rendered, with JobPosting markup, no login wall to read a job. If Google can't see it, I did it wrong.
First post from a new employer sits in a queue. Reports have a 24-hour SLA. Flagged junk gets hidden, not “noted.”
What I refuse to build
This is not LinkedIn. It's a board. If a feature doesn't help you decide whether to apply, I don't want it in the product.
- No resume-bot theater. I'm not shipping a chatty coach that rewrites your life into keywords.
- No fake heat. I don't invent “8 people viewed this.” I don't have a clean number for that, and I won't fake one.
- No DMs, no feed. You came to find a job, not to network at a stranger.
- No paid seeker filters. The salary filter stays free. That's not a growth lever.
- You can leave. Export or delete from the profile. I'm not keeping a shadow copy for later.
- Reports get read. 24-hour target. If I miss it, that's on me, not on a bot that “noted” it.
One person. No committee.
I run this. There isn't a growth team A/B-testing how long to hide the salary. If something's broken or dumb, email me and I'll see it.
Contact is the same inbox as everything else.

Seekers don't pay. You can browse without uploading a thing.
