1. About JobMaxx

JobMaxx (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates a job board platform connecting job seekers with employers. By using our platform you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, post fraudulent content, or engage in abusive behaviour.

3. Job Seekers

Browsing job listings is free and does not require an account. A free account unlocks fit scoring, saved searches, and email alerts.

You agree not to submit false applications, impersonate others, or use automated tools to scrape or mass-apply to listings.

Your profile data is used solely to power your experience on JobMaxx. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

4. Employers and Recruiters

All job postings must include a genuine salary range. Posts without a real salary range will be hidden or rejected.

Your first job posting is manually reviewed before going live. This review is typically completed within 24 hours.

You must confirm each active listing remains open every 14 days. Listings that are not confirmed are automatically removed from search results.

You may not post fraudulent, misleading, or scam listings. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and removal of all associated content.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscription terms and refund policies are governed by our billing agreement presented at checkout.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use JobMaxx to:

• Post or distribute spam, malware, or phishing content
• Harvest contact details of other users without consent
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, moderation, or access controls
• Reverse-engineer or copy the platform for a competing service
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit (job descriptions, profile information, cover letters). By submitting content you grant JobMaxx a licence to display and process it to operate the platform.

We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.

7. Platform Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and emergency downtime may occur. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary unavailability.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

JobMaxx is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that job listings are accurate, current, or that applying to a listed role will result in an interview or offer.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobMaxx is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which JobMaxx is incorporated. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
