MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop back-end and ETL solutions for problems of various magnitudes.
  • Maintain the current monitoring system and develop new features.
  • Contribute to scalable microservices running in a cloud-native environment.
  • Write clear, tested, and documented code that delivers real business value.
  • Participate in code reviews - both giving and receiving feedback.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of backend development experience with Python or Go.
  • Grasp of programming fundamentals and a genuine interest in system design.
  • Experience building or working with RESTful and/or gRPC APIs.
  • Working knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one database (SQL or NoSQL).
  • Ability to pick up unfamiliar tooling quickly and take feedback in code review.

BONUS POINTS FOR

  • Experience with microservice architecture.
  • Experience with message queues (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Sentry, and Prometheus.
  • Knowledge of web scraping tools & techniques.
