Job Description
Scope of Position
To handle the incoming and outgoing freight that passes over our dock.
Responsibilities
On-handing Cargo
- ETMS knowledge/running the on-handing script
- Enter on-hand data correctly and timely into the system.
Cargo Handling
- Offload and load trucks with provided lift equipment per company policies and procedures
- Warehouse automation script is used to identify cargo location and corresponding cargo
- Lift equipment is used safely to assemble cargo into receiving positions and operator damage is mitigated
- Consolidate parcel shipments as required
Prepare ULD's
- Untie Nets
- Cut Plastic
- Load cargo safely with provided lift equipment
- Tie netting
Labeling and shipping of air freight
- Monitor the processing of HAWBs and collect sheets as they accumulate
- Ensure EI destination labels match shipping label to prevent misroutes
- Use automation script to ensure shipping accuracy
- Warehouse cargo manifests checked, paperwork signed, and trailers sealed
Qualifications
Experience and Education
- High School degree or equivalent
- Forklift certification required within 6 months of employment
- Have a driver's license
- Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

- Base Pay Range $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience
