Job Description
- We're looking for an AML Investigations Team Lead to join our team in Budapest .
- This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise's mission by helping identify suspicious activity and ensuring Wise remains compliant.
- You will play a crucial role in advancing our mission of Money Without Borders by leading a team of investigators in Budapest and collaborating with a larger team distributed across five different offices worldwide.
- Your mission is to lead and support your team in identifying and analyzing suspicious payment patterns, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, and fostering a strong sense of community within the team.
- As an AML Investigations Team Lead, your primary duties include building and developing your team, optimizing operational processes, and collaborating with other teams to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Here's how you'll be contributing to the AML Investigations team:
Leadership:
- Build, lead, and develop a team of AML Investigators with a strong sense of community and shared purpose.
- Empower your team by providing the necessary tools and training to excel in their roles.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, adapting your leadership style to meet the needs of your team members.
Performance and Operations:
- Measure and work towards improving team KPIs, ensuring the team meets performance metrics and regulatory standards.
- Initiate and support operational process changes to enhance team performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other leads, product teams, and developers to manage the operational impact of changes and identify opportunities for automation and improved customer experience.
Team Development:
- Facilitate ongoing professional growth by setting personal development plans and leveraging available resources.
- Lead by example, establishing a team identity built on trust, high standards, and accountability.
