Job Description
- Knowledge to create Import files.
- Understand and use the Transcon DDL workflow and other tools to ensure shipments have the proper events in the files.
- Ensure to request appointments for shipments delivering to Consignees that need one if no appointment is needed.
- ADD no APR
- Ensure to update appointment once confirmed.
- APR no APT
- Ensure to update Expected Delivery date for shipments that do not need appointment based on arrival.
- ADD/AFD no XDD
- Dispatch shipments timely based on arrival and appointment.
- APT/XDD no ESD
- ESD no TBS/DOP
- TBS/DOP no TNF
- GPS loads and truck monitoring
- Ensure all paperwork, seals and GPS units are assigned prior to GPS shipments being picked up.
- Ensure Driver Checkins are correctly filled out by Expeditors and driver/s for all GPS loads.
- Ensure all HAWB's and shipments are staged prior to arrival of trucks for pickup.
- Ensure all HAWB's and shipments are loaded on the correct trucks by monitoring and tallying the loading of those trucks.
- Adherence to procedures as outlined in DLSOPS for customers.
- Escalation of problems to Management when necessary.
- Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company's procedures.
- Must meet 52 hours of training yearly.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Chicagoland area.
- Six months to one year related experience in Domestic operations.
- Operations/Industry Knowledge preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A proven history of providing exceptional customer service at all levels
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills in addition to a professional attitude
- Great attitude and background based on compliments from customers and coworkers
- Strong MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote
