Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Coursera's Authoring team.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive product
requirements
to improve and/or innovate on the user experience based on a deep understanding of the customer.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Research, Content, Product Marketing and Support & Services teams to deliver performant and high-quality content production and ingestion experiences.
- Monitor and improve content production and ingestion metrics. Effectively communicate progress, learnings, and tradeoffs cross-functionally and to senior leaders to foster alignment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience working in product management of tech products, including developing and prioritizing product roadmaps.
- Proficient in customer discovery, data analytics, and hypothesis testing.
- Customer-centric. Develops a deep understanding of the needs of internal and external customers including partners and enterprise users and uses this to identify opportunities and deliver impact.
- Strong problem-solving skills, using sound judgment to navigate complex challenges, assess risks, and present clear, data-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- An "owner" mindset. You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master simplifier, and someone who pushes towards clarity and delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building products in EdTech, learning technologies or content authoring tools
- Experience with B2B2C business model
- Experience building, using, or experimenting with AI-driven products, particularly in the areas of content generation and editing, adaptive learning and personalization, automated quality assurance, and multimodal authoring support such as AI for video, audio, and translation.
